UPDATE OCTOBER 2022
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 4th Oct 2022
I reviewed these notes in early October 2022. There's a new HM here so the mobile has changed, and I've added a link to the Harbour website. Note also that you can't tie your pride and joy up alongside anywhere anymore.
UPDATE SUMMER 2021
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 30th Sep 2021
I reviewed these notes at the end of September 2021. There are no longer any visitor moorings out in the bay, just the four drying moorings on the beach in the harbour.
No visitor moorings in bay
Written by pangani | 19th Aug 2021
There are no visitor moorings in the bay for deeper draft vessels. The only option for those unable to take the ground is to anchor, although the bay is crowded with private moorings.

There will be extra security around the first half of June. Keep a watch for Notice to Mariners from the Harbour website (see Don's comment) for extra directions and restrictions etc.
