Harbour Closed until at least August 2021

May 2021 - I visited Banff on foot. There is a large coffer damn around the internal pier as they try and mend it. In addition sea water is getting in under the outer harbour wall which is hampering the job. The harbour is closed until at least August 2021 - it is a big job!
The part-time Harbour Master responsible for Banff is Albert Wiseman (Under Derek Mackie at Macduff) HIs number is 07971590272

Update Spring 2016
Written by dononshytalk | 31st Mar 2016
These notes were reviewed by Don in March 2016. They have had a recent dredge here but are still quoting 4.5 hours either side of HW for visiting boats assuming of a draft of 1.5 metres. The waiting buoy is expected by the end of May. Those of you who enjoyed the Spindrift used book shop will be sad to hear that it closed.
