Update July 2023

I cannot find a Harbour Master but the cafe was open when I called. The person on duty there had not had any visiting boats and knew nothing about harbour dues or Hanbour Masters!!

UPDATE SPRING 2021
Written by Don Thomson 3 | 27th May 2021
I reviewed these notes in May 2021. I am searching for a contact here as everything has gone into limbo due to Covid. They do not expect to open the Cafe on the harbour this year as they "Cannot conform to social distancing in the kitchen" . I will update again later in the year.

It's just a gap in the cliff!

I would have gone past it if it hadn't been for the plotter saying we had arrived. Dodge the pot markers and feel your way in and keep to the wall side as the cliff side is a bit rocky. At least you can see them in the clear water, is that a good thing? I went into the harbour as the outer wall was severely festooned with hanging creels. I was put alongside a fishing boat by a pleasant Lybsterman. The walk up the hill is a bit steep but I was given a lift by another kind local.
